About the Department
The Department of Business Administration was started in the year 1998 with a built up area of 86 sq.mts. The department is essentially for the undergraduate teaching. Around 65 students were admitted initially with sanctioned staff strength of 2. Now in the academic year 2018-19 the students strength is 309. The department has BBA course in two shifts at the UG level and M.Phil course.
The department of Business Administration is now affiliated to Mother Teresa Women’s University. Different in charges like class incharge, tutor incharge, aluminiincharge, seminar incharge, industrial visits incharge, business club incharge, and library incharge are allotted on rotation basis. The class committee meetings, tutor system and the grievance redressal cell play a major role in the academic and psychological development of the department. Transparency being an important element of an ideal management, it is followed meticulously both at the college level as well as the department level. Wherever necessary students are involved and kept informed. There exists a Parents Teachers Association (PTA) at the college level where common issues are attended.
