About the Department

The department of Computer Science was started with B.Sc (CS) in 1998, Master of Science M.Sc (CS) in 2014 and Ph.D in 2018. The department has more than 200 students with a team of qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty to mould the students in various aspects. It has an excellent infrastructure equipped with spacious class rooms, well-equipped Computer Laboratories and a department library, it strives to mold the student with the state of the art technology to make them excel in the profession.

The motto of the department is to provide a platform for the students to achieve excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The realistic case analysis, Class room teaching, Group discussion, Live Projects, Guest Lectures are given to the under and post graduate students to face the innovative and dynamic global competition and get a best job. The department is improving the students software and hardware skills by conducting competitions like Debugging, Program Development, Web Designing and Animation
