About the Department

The department of Chemistry constitutes a six member faculty expertise in frontier level of teaching and research. The students get a chance for exposure to research oriented subjects especially Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Nano Science and Technology and Spectroscopy. The entire faculty has had the preliminary originality contributing genuinely towards the enhancement of academic curriculum. There are three who have been awarded highly commendable Ph. D and one with the PDF award in the reputed Foreign University and other one cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) respectively. Currently there are 100 students pursuing their B. Sc Chemistry Degree. The Syllabus Provides Integrated and unified approach towards Chemical Sciences covering all branches of chemistry and the practical papers with full emphasis to basic and innovative approach to enrich the knowledge. In addition to the academic activities, the department provides the staff and students to present their Valuable results at National and State level symposia.
