About the Department

Our department came into existence with a launching of B.Com Degree Course having 40 students in 1998 with a built up area of 86 sq.mts. Our staff members are well dedicated and experienced, providing quality education and opportunities for all round development of the students. Our department trains the student for their excellent future career. Teaching is combined with activity based learning. To enable holistic development of personality with humane and global outlook, our students are molded into multifaceted personalities by arranging Seminars, Work-Shops Guest-Lectures, Career Oriented Programmes and Soft Skill Training. Our department has been rendering yeomen service to the students’ community continuously in the field of commerce education. Ever since its inception, the department has maintained an exalted academic profile which is clearly reflected in the outstanding academic performance of the students. In the recognition of its remarkable achievements, it has been elevated to a Post Graduate Department with M.Com and M.Phil. Degree courses having 375 number of students.
